Instructions

Back:

1. Using size 8 (5.0mm) needles, cast on 100 (110, 120, 130, 140) stitches.
2. Knit 2 inches in garter stitch.
3. Switch to size 9 (5.5mm) needles and knit in stockinette stitch for 22 (24, 26, 28, 30) inches.
4. Shape the armholes: Bind off 5 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows.
5. Knit 10 (12, 14, 16, 18) inches.
6. Shape the shoulders: Bind off 5 (7, 9, 11, 13) stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows. Bind off the remaining stitches.

Front:

1. Using size 8 (5.0mm) needles, cast on 100 (110, 120, 130, 140) stitches.
2. Knit 2 inches in garter stitch.
3. Switch to size 9 (5.5mm) needles and knit in stockinette stitch for 22 (24, 26, 28, 30) inches.
